75th Anniversary of VJ Day - 2nd Sept 2020
The freedoms we enjoy today are a legacy of the sacrifices of many great leaders from all walks of life, and from all strata of society, and at all levels of engagement – from the grassroot to the lofty heights of grand strategy. We remember these great people and we honour them. We remember all those who served, and all the innocents who were affected. We remember them not only because it is the correct thing to do, but because it is in humanity’s interest to remember and to learn.
