Botanica, Brisbane Botanic Gardens

Botanica is a contemporary art exhibition in the City Botanic Gardens, consisting of light installations as well as contributions from fibre and textile artists. Every evening until the 29th May it is open and free to visit and explore within the Gardens - we attended last year and had a wonderful night.

We would like to invite AMBCQ members and supporters to attend tomorrow evening, followed by drinks and refreshments in our office at 320 Adelaide Street Brisbane. With the weather over the last few days, it has been hard to predict when would be a good time, but it looks like it should be clear for the next few days.

If you would like to join us, please let me know using the link - this is a free event and our catering will also be free, but it would be helpful to us to know how many to expect. The approximate details are as follows:

Date: Thursday 26th May 2022 Time: 6.00 pm arrival at the City Botanic Gardens entrance next to QUT

- we will adjourn for dinner at 320 Adelaide Street at approx. 7:30pm Address: QUT entrance to the City Botanic Gardens, Alice Street, Brisbane (please wait in the lit area that is adjacent to Old Parliament) Price: Free, but please do RSVP to assist with catering

Dress: Smart casual

Parking: The BCC carparks at King George Square and Wickham Terrace are $5 per entrance in the evening, and other carparks also have some discounting. Please do not park Alice Street as this is a clearance zone until 7pm and your car may be towed.

Children should be encouraged to come - it is a wonderful night out for children.
