About the Event
On 16th September , 1963, Malaysia was established through the signing of the Malaysia Agreement, uniting the Federation of Malaya, North Borneo, and Sarawak. And this year, we also celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Australia's diplomatic relations with Malaya/Malaysia. In honour of these milestones, the Queensland Parliament will be illuminated in the colors of the Malaysian flag.
Join us outside Queensland Parliament to see the lights. Afterward, we'll head to the nearby Pav Bar for drinks and refreshments.
